The author looks at the Drudge page every day (among other “news” sources) to stay abreast of the world. This week saw Drudge with a double dose of pure bullshit on October 23.
First was the “1,018 COVID DEAD TODAY” from Drudge. This is now 38 of 41 days in a row under 1,000 deaths per day and 11 of 41 under 500 deaths per day in the USA. 93% of the time there are under 1,000 deaths per day. 27% of the time there are under 500 dead. Plus 94% of those whose deaths are attributed to COVID AVERAGE 2.5 underlying conditions!
Does Drudge EVER note any of that? HAH! Instead a 1,000+ reported dead day is CHERRY PICKED to scare people with!
Then came the REAL WHOPPER! “500,000 DEAD BY FEB!” SAY WHAT??!!
This is from a University of Washington study and Reuters and AP and Yahoo among others all picked this up and ran with it to scare people! This number is more total bullshit!
In October the average reported dead is currently less than 700 per day. For 500,000 Americans to be dead by February 1 means that the USA would have to AVERAGE 2,800 DEAD PER DAY EVERY DAY FOR THE NEXT 90 DAYS!
NEWS FLASH! AN ADDITIONAL 2,100 PEOPLE PER DAY FOR 90 DAYS ARE NOT GOING TO SUDDENLY START DYING! IT IS A LIE! IT IS A CON GAME. AND THE MAJOR UNIVERSITIES AND MEDIA ARE ALL IN ON IT!
