The Washington Post written article in in the Stamford Advocate linked below should greatly disturb the reader. This article epitomized The Byzantine Pineapple use of mass media to manipulate.
It starts with the headline claiming “Experts.” “Experts” in…what? Democratic Party policies? Nowhere in the article is there a clear definition of what any “expert” is and what the qualifications for being an “expert” are. Instead the headline blares “EXPERTS” to add legitimacy to a total opinion piece written as if it is fact.
The first paragraph states that “Researchers tracking smartphone data say they recently made a DISTURBING discovery: For the first time since states began implementing stay-at-home orders in mid-March to limit the spread of the novel coronavirus, Americans are staying home less.”
Why is it “disturbing” that Americans are staying home less? What’s more “Disturbing” is that somehow “researchers” get to track cell phone data. How many people are being tracked?
“Because the study’s sample size is so large – MORE THAN 100 MILLION CELLPHONES OBSERVED MONTHLY – even slight changes are statistically significant, Zhang said.”
What this is stating is that since at least the start of the declaration of deFacto Martial Law MORE THAN 100 MILLION CELLPHONES ARE BEING OBSERVED MONTHLY FOR WHERE YOU GO! There are reputedly 330,000,000 million Americans. That means that 1\3 of the population is being tracked daily! WHO THE HELL AUTHORIZED THE DAILY TRACKING OF SUCH A WIDE SWATCH OF THE POPULATION? WHO ARE THE 1\3 BEING TARGETED?
The article then goes on to state that it is all due to “quarantine fatigue.” THAT’S A PRETTY LARGE ASSUMPTION TO MAKE BASED SOLELY UPON TRACKING PEOPLE’S CELL PHONE DATA! Maybe they have errands to run. Goodness knows if you haven’t visited a grocery or a bank or other places for 4 or 5 weeks then maybe the Citizen ACTUALLY MUST GO SOMEWHERE!
There is also no context given. Not all Citizens are under total household lockdown. How many of the cellphones tracked are exclusive to a “home lockdown” vicinity? In other words, it may be legal for the Citizen to travel but this is not factored into the equation.
Another blatant LIE from The Washington Post is “Because this is the first U.S. pandemic in 100 years,…” WRONG! Besides periodic flu pandemics the CDC website lists past Flu pandemics on their website in 1957-58 and 1968.
